Cafe des Cafes

 Hello everyone!!!

Welcome back to our blog. Last week we went to a restaurant which is called Cafe des Cafes.

Cafe des Cafes is a very popular and old restaurant on Tunalı Hilmi Street (You can check our "Tunalı Hilmi Street" blog). You may have a meal there or you may just drink a cup of tea or coffee and chat with your friends. We really recommend this place to you.

This restaurant was opened in 1995. You can also check their web page to watch their 28th year anniversary video:

Meals That We Have Had

In Cafe des Cafes you can enjoy delicious and fascinating dishes such as hamburgers, healthy bowls, desserts, etc.

Here, there is a healthy bowl with chickpeas and chicken. They serve it with some tomatoes, avocados and lettuce. Also there is a salad bowl with grilled zucchini.

For the vegetarians, they have lots of delicious options like this buckwheat salad. It has strawberries and some mint on it. It's really fresh

This is also one of the mouthwatering meals you can try there: Artichoke Chicken

We really like their dishes. This place is incredible for people who want to stay fit.

If you want to learn more about their dishes you can check the menu.

Decoration

Cafe des Cafes was designed like mid-century. Their furniture are old-fashioned. You may feel in the 50's.

This old-fashioned design makes this place special.

There is also an antique piano.

If you want, you may play.

You can see paintings and also you can see news about the restaurant's history.

How You Can Go There

The place is on Tunalı Street. There are lots of public transportation options to go there such as city buses and the subway. After the subway you must walk for like 20 minutes, so we recommend using city buses to go there. Also if you are a Bilkent university student, you can take the Tunus ring buses.
